Knowledge Navigator

In 1988, Apple's John Scully commissioned a project called the knowledge navigator, an ambitious concept which foreshadowed everything from the internet and online searching to VOIP telephony. A fascinating video of Scully's concept can be viewed here.

In the end, Scully was far ahead of his time, and the Knowledge Navigator did not progress from concept to reality.

At least not yet.
